Burn sucessful but no play in CD player

I've made my 1st CD with CD Architect 5.2
It say's "Burn was Sucessful"
When I put my CD in the player it says "no disc"
When I put it in the PC all tracks play OK.
The tracks are not "wav" they are "cda"
What Im I doing wrong here?

What is the player that you are trying to play them in ? early DVD players may not play CD-Rs at all. Some CD players do not like some CD-R brands or types.

In the meantime I found out the CD plays in my car player, so you are right Geoff; I'm using an old CD player, I’ll have to get a new one.

Jeepers, car players are usually the ones where CD-Rs have problems ! The other notorious ones are 'carousel' CD-changers.
