Burning a DVD-DL

Please help; I finish my project and I try to burn using a burner Sony DVD-RW DL with a DVD+R DL because the project is around 8GB but it says it doesn't fit. I have architect studio 2.0 and in options/preferences/burning, the drop list in space available media doesn't have the 8.5GB in it, the max is 4.70. When I go to flie/optimize dvd in the estimated size it doesn't recognize that I am using a DVD DL.

What or How can I do it?

I don't know if DVDAS 2.0 has this option. I do know that DVDA 3.0 does, but am unsure if DVDAS 3.0 does. You might want to refer to your manual to see what it says.

A way around this (if DVDAS lets you prepare a file to a folder) is to burn it using Nero or some other software that will let you burn a dual layer dvd.

You need DVDA 3.0 or DVDAS 3.0 to burn DL media. One option is to go ahead and prepare your project then use CopyToDVD to burn the prepared project. CopyToDVD has a fully functional 30 day free trial and can correctly set the layer break for you.
