Burning a minus track hidden track on track 1 of cd?

Hi, I'm trying to burn a hidden track on my bands new cd on the beginning of track 1 in the minus track. It appears i've got everything set up right, but it won't let me burn the cd. From what I'm gathering from the error message, it's saying my burner isn't able to burn a cd that doesn't start at 2 seconds. I'm pretty sure this isn't true, cause I've read that my burner can in a few different places. Here's my setup:

LG Electronics GCE 8481B
CD Architect 5.0

This is the error message
'ATAPI MMC Compatible'-(0)
-'HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8481B C102'-(1)
Module atapimmc.cpp Line 1128
This drive requires the start time for track 1 to be exactly 2 seconds.
Status: 00000000

Info: 00 00 00 00

Can anybody think of a workaround?

red book says that all audio/tracks gotta start AT 2.00 seconds. (if you zoom in real close, you'll see the red area on the timeline from 0-2, too).
in addition, a lot of cd-rs/recorders won't do it cuz it's just cutting too close! ha.

Why can't you just start the stuff at 2.00 seconds??

Many CD burners do not support adding a trk at the top, Add it to the last trk. after some silence.

Just my own personal opinion, but i think hidden tracks are a stoopid idea. ;)

Whenever i get a CD with one, the first thing i do is rip all the tracks to my hard drive and burn a new CD with the hidden track as a regular track. Then i put the original CD away, probably never ever to be played again.

First off, you're right your burner has to be able to support this feature. If it does, then also go into the Options>preferences and uncheck "Use Strict Redbook specification checking". If you find after doing this that you can do this, i would like to know which burner you have. I've been requested a few times to do this in the past, but none of the burners i own have been able to do it.
