Burning BluRay with Vegas & DVD Architect

I seem to be able to create a high def video with Vegas Pro. It comes out as an M2T file.
However, when I import that file into DVD Architect and preview it all I see is black.

I have a Sony BluRay burner and would really like for Sony DVD Architect to be able to burn the hi-def file created by Sony Vegas to the Sony BluRay burner.

How can I accomplish this?

You are on the wrong forum. This is Movie Studio, not Pro.

To answer your question, DVD Architect doesn't support true BD burning, but Pro can burn HD video to a plain DVD to be played back on a BD player. The difference is that it doesn't need a BD burner, and it doesn't support BD menus.

Thanks Eugenia, sounds like a step in that direction.
This brings up two questions.
1. How can what you describe be accomplished? Since Architect won't import the m2t file, how does one get the m2t file to a plain DVD using Architect.

2. What software is needed to burn a true BluRay disk?

Thanks

1. You don't use DVDA for BD-in-a-DVD trick. You use Vegas Pro's own burning option, in one of the menus.
2. There are a few around, e.g. Pinnacle.
