Burning disc

Sorry if this query repeats part of an earlier one. I have made and rendered a slideshow and taken it into Architect. It appears as Untitled there, so I have given it a name and saved it, then opened it by going to the Open File icon in Architect. I have then asked it to make a Movie, and it appears to do so and tells me it has been successful. But when I go to play it on a DVD I only seem to have the opening page which I have made in Architect.. Please tell this beginner what I am doing wrong!

Hmmmm, CD Architect doesn't support any sort of slideshow or menu or DVD creation of any sort.

Assuming you mean DVD Architect instead of CD Architect, the usual method is to drag the video file (your slideshow) into the layout. This will create a button for it which you can reposition, rename, and otherwise manipulate. When you try the preview function in DVD Architect does it work there?

Thanks for the response. I have no idea what hair-brained thing I did; suffice to say it is now working and I'm slowly coming to grips with some of the great things it will do.

I wonder if you can help with another query? When I go into Architect from Vegas and save the Untitled file with a new name, the file that then appears in the Architect Window is not the new file but is always the last file I used in a previous session. Is there a way to change this default so that the file is the new file - or even an empty window?

Not sure exactly what the other "hair-brained thing" was, but you are still posting in the wrong forum ! ;-)
