Burning issues

I'm recently new to Vegas and have been loving it. But now that my first project is completed on it I am having issues burning it to DVD with DVD Architect 2.0b. Every time I burn a project it looks like it's going smoothly with no errors at all, but then the finished DVD turns up a dud. I can see on the back of the disc that it has been writen to but no files show up when I explore it and it won't play in my dvd player. I am using a p4 3ghz with 1gig of ram and a
hl-dt-st dvd ram gsa-4160b DVD drive. Please help!

What sort of media are you actually burning too? If it's a DVD-RAM, then don't expect it to be playable in your DVD player. You want to burn to -R, +R or -RW, +RW.

I'm having the exact same issue and am using a DVD+R disc in a DVD+R burner. I've also tried 2/3 different players with the same result.
