Burning surround to DVD, which program will work?

Hi Everyone,

I want to burn audio tracks to DVD in surround. I currently use Sound Forge and SONAR for recording and mixing audio. Would DVD Architect Studio or Vegas Movie Studio do the job? Or is DVD Architect Pro my only option here (as far as Sony software is concerned)?

I cannot find a definitive answer in the software descriptions. Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

tecknot

If you select the File/New option to start a new project (rather than clicking the New button), you'll open with an option screen where, among other things, you can set up your video as 4:3 or 16:9 and you can set your audio as stereo or 5.1 surround.

You will, of course, need to have a 5.1 input in order to make it happen though.

There's more information on these types of things in my free Basic Training tutorial series as well as in my book.
