In DVDA 1, I had no problems with this. Haven't touched a DVD project in a while and, after installing DVDA2 the other day, I figured I'd give it a try.
The setup's simple, something I can get done in a second in DVDA1 -- I have a Menu page with one video file set as a Text Only button, "play". "play" is currently green -- I'd like it to brighten on rollover/selection.
The problem: first, the button shows up as active when the menu page loads -- I'd like it to be inactive, or at least highlight only when it is pressed. Then, changing the color sets and the "selected/activated/inactive" button choices, I'm drowning in my own ignorance of what does what -- none of the combos I've tried so far do the job.
I've been doing a lot of searching here in the DVDA forum, and have looked over the PDF manual, and have come up with a lot of near-misses for answers. Obviously it has something to do with the Color Sets and button colors, but there are soooooo many interrrelated choices, and none of them do the job they I assume they would. To my mind, I should just be able set the button to something like "highlight on rollover," choose the text overlay color, and be done with it (this is how it works in Dreamweaver, for instance). Obviously developers don't cater to my whims alone :D
