Camera Connection

HI... if anyone knows about this, it would be a help... I will also write to SF...

I was using my Sony camcorder with Video Factory and everything was going fine...

Suddenly, the program STOPPED recognizing the camcorder... It's not a problem with the connection or the camcorder as other programs on my computer continue to recognize it... I went through the trouble shooting but it basically said nothing at all...

I am thinking about uninstalling and reinstalling the program, but if anyone has another idea, i'd love to hear from ya...

Have you installed any programs since Video Factory last worked for you?
They may have stolen the connection and are not freeing it up. Yahoo Instant Messenger has been known to do that (as an example). You might try reinstalling VF and see if that helps. If not I would check on any programs recently installed to see if they have entries in your system tray that might be running and capturing the video connection when you boot your computer - if so try turning them off and see if that helps.
