My dad has a digital tape recorder/camera that we got from Sony. it's a good camera - but when I convert the footage to my computer or Sony Vegas it doesn't turn out so good.
The image and video feed is not as sharp as the one that shows inside the camera. In the camera, the video displays itself as perfect, smooth quality - but when I put the files from the camera onto the computer the playback from the computer is horrible.
The image is choppy and very slow. The sound is bouncy and the sometimes the videos have little lines going through the screen where the video is playing in.

Does that mean my computer can't run those videos well, or does it mean I have to install a new Divix or something?
