can academic ver of Vegas Pro be upgraded to Pro?

If you are registered with Vegas academic, when an upgrade price comes along can you upgrade? Is it a separate upgrade path / price?

There is no differnce in the apps as far as I know. It's just packaging and price.

But I could be wrong.

Vegas Pro and Vegas Pro Academic are identical in every respect. The only difference is the license terms and price point. This applies to upgrades as well as full versions. You can upgrade retail to academic, and vice versa, assuming a valid, non-cracked serial number.
