Can anyone repro in V9?

I'm using native 1440x1080 XDCAM HD on the timeline. The project is for SD so I have my project settings for IMX 50mb 720x486 XDCAM.

The problem comes when I am ready to render. I change my bit depth to 32bit (video levels) and begin the render. However, I've noticed that when I change to a 32bit setting of any kind the render only renders the first frame and then abruptly jumps to render 100% completed. If I go back and change to 8bit, then the project renders normally.

So far so good here with XDCAM EX but all in 1920x1080.
Only thing I'm curious about is why the IMX 50mb project.
I find I get the best preview matching the project to my source even when delivering SD.
I'd be kind of surprised if that's going to make a difference to your problem but worth a shot.

I agree with Bob that - for the best editing experience - project properties should match the source whenever possible, and regardless of the intended output format.

As to Erik's question, I found a sample of 1440 XDCAM and no, I cannot repro your probs in V9.

I use 720x486 because I also have a good amount of SD on the timeline as well. Maybe, I still don't fully understand Vegas but this is what I've found. If I put my HD clips in a project that is going to SD, the only way I have been able to get the aspect correct is to set the project properties to SD and then match output aspect on the HD clips.

If I set project to 1440x1080 and try to render out a 720x486, my video is pillar-boxed as expected buy the image is sqwunched up to fit into the SD ratio. I haven't been able to figure out how to render HD project settings to SD and get the proper proportions.
