Can I avoid gaps between frames?

I am currently doing animated Claymation shorts for my students and wondering if I can avoid one time-consuming step. When I drag a couple hundred photos onto my timeline all at once, Vegas groups them in twos with a tiny gap between the next two, so that I have to manually drag each photo and but it up against the previous ones to get seamless playback. Any way to avoid this? I tried changing the format of my ruler thinking that Vegas is trying to do something with even timing. I tried disabling snapping thinking that might play into it but no luck. My preferences are set to a default still length of 7 frames.

1. Turn "Quantize to Frames" On.
2. Turn "Enable Snapping" On.

That's it. This won't automatically snap existing projects, however. You'll have to do that by hand.

Thank you!!! Huge time saver. I'm doing 10 of these projects.

Not only a huge timesaver, but snapping events to frame boundaries is a requirement of nonlinear editing.

Turning off those options is there for fine tweaking audio events, only.
