Can I create chapters?

Is it possible to create chapters within my movies using VideoFactory 2.0c? I have three little family slide shows that I would like to place on one vcd, but I would like to be able to select which one to watch. I can't find anything about this in the help files.

Chapters really only exist on DVDs, and they are set during the DVD authoring step of DVD making.

You will need to create separate MPEGs for each "chapter" on a VCD, then create your VCD and select all these MPEGs. When you create your menu, you can have each of these files as a menu option giving that "chapter" appearance you are looking for.

If you've got Nero 5.5, there's an option for creating chapters.

You can also create what you want with Ulead's DVD MovieFactory. Although not true chapters, it is exactly what you need for your purpose. One other great thing about DMF is that you can create "chapters" from specific points in one particular video file. You don't actually have to have each chapter in a separate file.
