Can I delete ver 1.0 now that 2.0 is installed?

so far 2.0 has been awesome, particularly the video capture 2.5. I'm looking forward to working more with this program.

p.s. - installation was easy.

Yes, it is recommended that version 1.0 is uninstalled when you are using 2.0.
