Can I edit a clip in Vegas and save it as a jpeg?

When I have edited a clip, eg adjusting brightess/contrast, clipping it or using the Unsharpen effect, is it possible to save the result as a separate jpeg image that I can use outside the program?

I could not see a map symbol, but on investigating the icons above the preview window I saw an icon which says 'Save snapshot to file' which does exactly what I want. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
