Can I have 2 x AC3 tracks with one video track?

Hi all, I'm trying to get a DVD out today and I have a newbie question.

I have made an MPEG2 file which is 4,208,238 KB and 2 x AC3 tracks which are 161,370KB each. One is with voiceover and one is music-only.

Is it possible to make a DVD in which I select either of these AC3 tracks from the menu, but without having 2 identical accompanying MPEG2 files? I assumed this would be possible but now I'm not sure and it seems I may have to make a bilingual track which I guess would compromise quality.

By the way I also have a very short, silent MPEG2 copyright notice that I would like as a first play.

Multiple audio tracks can be done in DVDA 2, but not in DVDA 1. Both versions give you the option of a first play / introductory media.

Check the manual / help file on how to do these things. They're pretty basic featues.

Cheers Rob, I'm running into a deadline, hence my bypassing the manual. I was just going to do the project with TMPGenc DVD Author which I've quite a lot of experience with, but quickly found that it couldn't handle 2 audio tracks. That made me panic a bit that maybe none of the programs could do it.

Next problem I've got is that DVDA won't take one of my 2 AC3 files exported from Vegas. I'll do a search.

I hope this can help you , when you insert a media object (Right Click in a Menu Page ) Then you set behavior use End Action Media Properties for this object in properties window, here is posible switch audio and/or subtitle.
