Can I remap keyboad keys?

This weekend I discovered that the "Delete" key (the one below "insert" and to the left of "end" deletes when you hit it (well, "duhhh," you say). I did this by accident a couple of times when using the keys to navigate and select (ctrl-end, shift-ctrl-end) stuff on the timeline. I discovered that one time I hadn't noticed and restored so I have a patch of blank audio that I'll have to patch back in. :(

Is there a way to disable this key or remap a harmless function to it?

Thanks

Alan

Hi Alan,

You could use a keyboard macro to undo if you hit the combo wrong...

...or you could pry the keycap off (which might be faster).

Thanks Marty, I think the removing the keycap is what I'll end up doing.

I had to pry off the "power key" off my Focus 2001 kybd. I was using the flip up dust cover as a rest for books/manuals.......slip.....bump....OFF:-(

What's ctrl-shift-end? And why do you need to ctrl-end (go to end of project) very often?

Just wondering as I use delete ALL the time as I cut out unwanted scenes but on the very rare occasions I need to see where the project ends I'll just zoom out.
