CraigF,

I think the answer will be that as you - and I come to that, I use Hollywood Bridge AV<>DV convertor - we don't have the DV controls available to us, to use. Also, I don't see a "time-limit" control type function. But I've been wrong before!

Others may consider the Internal Preferences settings, if there is an option within its menu system. WARNING: DO NOT ALTER THESE SETTINGS WITHOUT A SAFETY NET AND THE PROPER COACHING!

CraigF - there are some neat settings within the INternal settings menu, but clip capture length.... Hmmmmm..... maybe... maybe...

Hold tight, someone may jump in. I'll keep an eye on this interesting question.

Grazie

What is this "internal settings menu" that you speak of?

You can get there by clicking on "Options", then hold down the shift key, and click on/select "Preferences". You will see an additional "Tab" - called "Internal". Click on this you will be presented with a huge array of options, most of which I haven't a clue what they do. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES CHANGE ANY OF THESE UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD HOW THEY WORK. - Okay that's the warning out of the way. Seriously, you now have access to some useful options. I'll allow "others" to pick it up from here. However, put "Internal settings" or "Internal" into a search string in our Forum. You will be presented with some further intelligence on this.

But be careful - THIS IS A HEALTH WARNING!!!

Cheers
