File is written to NTFS partition so no size limit applies.
Also why VV 3 wants to make the file bigger than 2 Gb when the film is only 100 min?
It should be 1 Gb (wav at 44100)
.wav files are limited to 2GB no matter what OS / drive format you're using. What are the other properties of your output file? A 100 minute 44.1KHz file will only be about 1GB if it is also stereo 16 bit.
This really doesn't answer your question since a few details were missing, yet it should solve your problem...VV supports "wave64" which isn't restricted to the 2GB limit. Search VV's docs for "wave64".
I just noticed that some parts of the soundtrack were WAY beyond the end of the video. Hence longer than 100 min wav.
Deleted them & got the wav at 1.3 Gb
On the other note, what must one do to capture sound longer that 3.5 hours on HD if the wav only goes to 2 Gb?
