can not save project

Just got movie studio 8. I put in a 7 minute clip from my video camera, did no changes, just want to save it for later, and the program says

an error occured while saving the project file bisutti.vf.
the file could not be created.

what am i doing wrong

Where are you trying to save it? Perhaps that folder is read-only or a system folder. Or maybe you're trying to save it back to the CD/DVD drive. Any of those locations would cause that error.

i feel like a dope. the last file I was in was from a dvd...so I was trying to save it toa DVD
