Can remote menu button go to loop point

Well, thanks to this great forum, I was able to create my first motion menu containing an intro video transitioning into the main menu with a loop point at the start of the main menu. I was also able to create proper end actions to get the viewer back to the main menu at the loop point from any of the submenus.

However, I couldn't figure out how to get to the start of the main menu (loop point) during playback of a video. That is, when I press the menu button on the remote during playback, it takes me back to the start of the intro video. I would rather like to go to the loop point when I press the menu button. Is it possible to do this?

Thanks in advance!

Can you set the End Action for that clip back to your intro clip?

Under Remote Buttons in the properties on the right, click on the "+" beside "Menu"

There you can set the Destination to the "Menu"

Then you can set the Destination Item to "Loop Point"

Hi Ed, is it possible to offer the option to skip the intro and go to the loop point when the user press "NEXT" ? My menu icon is inactive in the main timeline. I managed to do the rest including scene selection thanks to your trick except this one.

I think the user may get bored after watching it a few times. I can fast forward but the next button doesnt work.

I managed to forward to the loop point after enabling the next remote button. The strange thing it only works on some players.
