Can someone reproduce this velocity bug

1. new project, add one then add one more, even worked with empty event for me. Drag and drop, don't move them once you drop them
2. add velocity envelope to 2nd clip, then add one or more points then click on points. Just click once don't move points. Does your cursor jump to first clip?
3 now move the second clip fwd or back in time line a little, now clicking a points brings cursor to where I clicked

Sorry for the typo I was very over work from day job, any way. I can reproduce this bug at will, I just want know if it just on my end. So here I go again, ;-)
Step 1. Open VV5b then add video track, on that track (cursor at start) right click and add empty event.

Step 2. Move cursor to end of the event and right click, add empty event.
You should have two blank events back to back.

Step 3. Right click second event, add velocity envelope.
Step 3a. Add an adjustment point any where on the envelope (right click, double click doesn't matter)

Step 4. Click but don't move the point.
My cursor jumps the first event relative to the point I added in event 2

Step 5. grab event 2 and move fwd in TL, now click added point and cursor move to where you clicked.

I've posted the veggie if you stll can't get what I mean Click Here

I just want to know if it's just my VV5 doing this

Yes, here in the UK too!

PLus . .. .

1/- You don't need to have the NEXT Empty event "butted-up" to the first Event . . .

2/- . .in fact you DON'T even need a first Event!

3/- I just tried slapping down an empty event anywhere and the Cursor will want to "default" to a distance from the 00:00:00 the distance OF the space in the Empty event regardless of WHERE that Empty Event was created . . .

4/- It even WORKS across Tracks too! .. . I love this stuff! . .Try Adding a track and repeating .. .

Seriously, this must flag-up something .. . the value of which eludes me at present, but I'm sure somebody will throw somne light on it . . . Looks like an Area 51 thang ! . . I wonder if this is of value to Edward and Gary - and the various scripts using "Empty Event" or positional Marker markings? Interesting . . I think Edward would like to know about this . . . .

Best regards,

Grazie

ROTFLOL at Grazie, leave it him to take the bug I found and make it better.... LOL
Well I feel better now that it's not just me, I even video taped it and posted over at DVXusers.

Ok so how do we tell Sony about this, I never had a bug before - well I did but was one of those 48 hour things.
