Can't Burn DVD

Help, I get an error message when I try to burn a DVD...

Make sure you are using the latest build of DVDAS or DVDA for the particular version you have.

DVDA is well known for its lack of compatability with certain burners and burner/media combinations. If using +R try using -R, ir using RW try using R.

If that doesn't help you can always formally report the problem to Sony and while you wait for them to hopefully fix the problem, use something like Nero to do your actual burns.

Thank you for responding. Could you please educate me on the Nero software? I've seen it referenced numerous times in these forums. What's the latest and greated version? Dan
