Can't Burn DVD+R DL!

My 2nd coaster of DL and still can not burn my project. Everything goes normal until the burning process reaches the Lead-out, it just hangs for about 20-30 minutes then it spits DVD out and gives this message: Operation Time Out SFMMCX'-(17)

I too could not burn a DL DVD+R. Made several coasters.

Personally, I don't think the DL burning works?? DVDA rendered and preped the whole DVD but it always got hung up with the burn process. ONE time out of the 5 or so I tried, it actually burned 99% of the way through only to hang up on the burning of the lead out. I finally resolved to burning the prepared DVD in another application.

What a waste of time.

I've suffered the same problem (several times). Single layer works fine. For what it's worth my DVD writer is a Pioneer 109. Of course dual layer writing works fine in other applications.
