I can't click on "Custom" when rendering to mpeg2 any more asaik it was working previously. V5 WINXP

How does one open the Registry in XP? Isn't that a bit danerous to play around in there? BTW, what does it mean: by: If it is not "CurrentKey" or "InstFlags", get rid of it."

Yes it can be

Once you navigate to that key, you will see several entries. Two will be "currentkey" and "InstFlags". There will also be others. Get rid of the "others".

Before you try playing with the registry try running the MigrationTools if you have other software. I had this same problem in Vegas until I ran Migration Tools from DVDA.
