Can't get tech support email system to remember me

Hopefully, someone from Sony tech support will see this and offer some assistance. I called the 800 number, but none of the options address problems with emailing tech support.

I tried to email tech support using the link on the website. It asked for my user name and password. Apparently, it didn't like my password, so I selected the link to have a password reset emailed to me. I never got the email. During business hours I called the 800 number anyway and pressed the option for sales or something in a desperate bid to get a warm body on the phone. Fortunately, the guy who answered was all too happy to send me a password reset link which I actually got. I reset my password and got to the email link.

I went no further, because it wanted information specific to my workstation, which I was not in front of at that moment. So I figured I'd wait until I was.

This evening, I went to the login page for customer support, put in my user name and new password, and it promptly told me that either the password was incorrect or my account had been deactivated, just as before.

I retrieved the email the guy sent earlier today and clicked on the link. The Sony site told me that link had expired.

So now I have NO way of contacting tech support via email. Apparently the system doesn't like me.

How do I fix this?
