Hi folks, this is a real pain in the bum. For a while now I've not been able to open .MOV files in Movie Studio 17 Platinum.
I've enabled MOV in depreciated features.
I've installed those .79p HVEC codecs.
I've re-installing Quicktime as Admin.
I've tried the alternative Quicktime install as per this site's suggestion.
Any other ideas?
MOV is a container, we will need a little more information about your files in order to help.

After downloading, right click on the media in your Windows folder, open MediaInfo, choose Text from the View option, select all, copy & paste in a comment here,

Movie Studio 11 came out 11 years ago, was developed by a different company, and Apple had a much different policy in regards to ProRes and Quicktime.
