Can't install

Trying to install VEGAS Pro on different computer. Installs successfully, but crashes on startup.
Laptop has Win 10
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz   2.81 GHz
NVIDIA Quadro M1200
16GB ram
All other software is working.

Based on the information you've provided, I'd remove the ?Quadro 120? and try with the on-die video adapter in the  i7-7700HQ.

Thank you for the suggestion.
I tried uninstalling the NVIDIA driver - still same crashing.
It seems to crash when it is scanning plugins, specifically the dll for Addictive Drums. Is there a way to start it in some sort of "safe mode" and then prevent it from scanning my DAW's plugins?
Sometimes it crashes on "initializing UI...", sometimes on "Updating plug-in cache..."

Is this something v19 will fix?

If it's a VST plugin, just move the VST folder and see if it starts. Then start moving the VST files back in one by one and see where it fails. You can leave that one (or more) out and then start figuring out why that particular one does not work.

Worked!

I removed all the VST plugins then one by one returned them and tried starting SV17. Strange thing is I eventually returned all the VSTs, and it load just fine. Now I can’t reproduce the issue, so I guess I’ll call it good.
