I capture video. I paste it to the timeline. I can even render the ner .vf file into an .avi file.

BUT AS SOO AS I try to render it into an MPEG1 (Nevermind right now the whole MPEG2 thing), my computer gives me an error and I have to totally shut down Video Factory.

Not to mention I downloaded the 2.0c version, and the Directx8 (I actually got Directx9- hopefully I didn't screw up there).

HELP ME!! WHy can't I burn a ^$%$&@ DVD!!!!

What is the error message and what are your computer specs (especially your processor).

Ermmm.. I'm picking up 2 issues here:

1 - "WHy can't I burn a ^$%$&@ DVD!!!!" - DVD need MPEG2 . . You can make a plausible, passable VCD - I've done this in VF. Tell me, have you burnt this type of media before?

2 - Does VF know where and how to find your "burning" device? - This might be wrong of me to suggest - but this maybe be part of it.

As DD says - let's see the error message - yeah?

Again - VCDs can be made directly from VF - The DVD thing is something else - yeah?

Get back good buddy! Someone here will assist . . .

Regards

Grazie

the error message says:

"An error occurred during the current operation. An Exception has occurred" when I choose the MPEG-1 format to save as under "Make Movie"
