Can't open AU sound files in V7?

Yesterday I upgraded from V6.0d to V7.0b. I am no longer able to open any AU sound files. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Further investigation has revealed that it was two particular AU files of mine that could not be imported in V7. Funny thing is that V6 read them just fine.
