Can´t open ProRes in Vegas 21

On the same computer I can open ProRes files in Vegas 15, but not in VP 21. I have enabled QuickTime plugin in "Deprecated Features".

Should be possible without enabeling the old, legacy plugin in depreciated features. Suggest you, to disable that. And make a reset of Vegas.

Can you post a short sample to Drive or Dropbox (not this forum or Youtube)?

If I do that, VP 21 will not even preview the file. Vegas crashes if I try to import the clip to the timeline.

My VP 21 seems to hate ProRes ;-)

I did a SmartRender (FFmpeg) in Vegas 15 and Vegasaur of a short sample. VP 21 was able open that file. So that will maybe be a workaround in the end. But I think there should be a better/easier/more obvious solution to make VP 21 open ProRes.

I don´t want to post the whole 19,7 GB file which consists of personal footage.

I did a comparison of settings in VP 15 and VP 21 and there was one thing that solved the problem: In VP 21 I had "GPU acceleration of video processing" set to Off. Turn it on helped.

Things like that would have been corrected by a reset of Vegas.
