I have been using the Vegas Studio (14 -18 version) software for a few years, with no problem

I have a bunch of video's that I have edited on it as well some that I am working on now

I just upgraded to Windows 11 from Windows 10, and I can't open any projects or saved work, I can't even open the software itself

It seems as if Vegas (Magix) software and any related work is being blocked from opening

Not sure if this is your problem but Vegas Pro cannot open if you have the French language selected.

(Intel 3rd gen i5@4.1GHz, 32GB RAM, SSD, 1080Ti GPU, Windows 10) Not now used with Vegas.

13th gen i913900K - water cooled, 96GB RAM, 4TB M2 drive, 4TB games SSD, 2TB video SSD, GPU RTX 4080 Super, Windows 11 pro

The french language problem does not affect VP 17.

That's a little confusing. Are you using Vegas Pro, Vegas Movie Studio, or both? (Movie Studio was discontinued with version 17).

You may have to run older Vegas in Windows Compatibility mode, and / or install an older version of .NET Framework to get it to work on Win 11.

Please tell me exactly which version and build number you are having problems opening. Thx.

Here it tells you how to find and post the information you need to troubleshoot Vegas issues.

@mark-y, I have VEGAS Pro 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22 running on this Win11 machine with no need to change anything like the compatibility mode. They all simply work fine.
