Can't print to tape. HELP!!!!

I can capture film perfectly. When I go to print to tape, a error box comes up saying,"An error occurred while previewing a file on the device. An invalid device was specified" I'm running Windows ME. I've enabled DMA. And I've also loaded the latest DirectX. What do I do? Please help.Thanks!

I, too, am running ME and have the same problem. I can capture video fine, but once it is rendered, I get the same error message. I really need help too, please, someone respond. my email addy is Jaxcham2@aol.com Thanks and Happy Holidays.

You're using the uncompressed render template. Assuming you're using DV, choose NTSC DV or PAL DV.
