Trying to set a project's audio settings to 24bit, 96khz
with my LynxOne audio card causes VP to complain:,
"Warning one or more audio playback devices do not support
the current sample rate and/or bit depth. An unsupported
media type was requested."
I have been recording at 16bit/44.1 w/no hitches.
Recording at 24bit 48khz worked but playback was full of
pops, crackles and other nastiness.
Any idea what's up. Reading the LynxOne documentation one
is led to believe that this is achievable and that the Lynx
piece just takes orders from the software that's running.
I'm sending the same info to Lynx to see if they have any
input.
System info:
PentiumII 450, true intel processor, 128megs RAM, NT4.0
w/service pack 5.
Thanks in advance.
