Old? Nah, I've installed VP8,9 and 10 before now. You may need a new SERIAL.

You need to call Vegas Customer support to get your install counter reset. It's a fast and painless process. As you said you had it installed many times before and now exceeded the number of installations, I think it's now 10 times air so.

OK thank you. I didn't know there was a limit. I install and reinstall frequently because of formatting mydrive.

Kim N.: No worries. The limit serves as a check point to make sure the license isn't being shared outside of your use. In this case everything checks out so it should be quite a while before you would reach your limit again.
