I recently downloaded the Vegas 8, Media Manager and DVD architect 4.5 trial versions to my computer for testing. After installing the media manager my computer became unstable, crashed and would not boot up. I went into safe mode and restored the computer back to the setting before the crash. I attempted to reinstall the software but I'm getting the message that reinstallation is not possible because the software is already installed and I need to uninstall first. The problem is, none of the programs are on the Windows uninstall list.. Interestingly, when I checked the program folders, there was an old Vegas 5, and Vegas 7 trial still on the hard drive that also did not appear on the uninstall list. It appears that I've been accumulating trials over the past several years. The Sony software that I purchased is all listed on the uninstall list.
How do I clean this trial software off my computer?
OS = Windows XP
Toshiba Laptop 1GB memory 2.3 Ghz Pentium 4
other Sony software installed = Sound Forge 9, CD Architect 5, Noise Reduction 2 plug-in.
