Can't render as QuickTime

irthling wrote on 9/27/2003, 11:58 PM
When I try to render as QuickTime, I get an error message, "the sonic foundry QuickTime plug-in was not able to initialize the QuickTime components on your system. It appears that QuickTime for Windows is not properly installed."

I have QuickTime 6.3 installed, and the Player is playing movies successfully.

Any ideas will be welcome. I'm not sure how to proceed with the

Mike.

Reinstall QT, but this time when you download it, select the middle check box, CUSTOM,(recommended for authors ....and something else in that box.
You MUST install the authoring package to render to QT files. But it's not part of their standard install for 'consumer' users of QT
