Can't render audio for DVD to show on TV (MS 16 Plat)

Using V.M.S.16 Plat on Windows 11:
Trying to follow Tech Dive tutorial (created for M.S.17Plat) to render audio portion for a DVD to show on a TV...
I got this error. "Download failed: Install DL path “C:\Users\Windows\AppData\Local\Movie Studio Platinum\16.0\Vegas-option-install.dat” "
I also don't see DVD Architect available, but maybe I'm missing it.
Is there a way for me to continue with 16 Platinum?
What do I do? This is for an orientation Non-Profit training group, not just entertainment.
Thanks.

@John-Steers Your post has me confused as it's unclear what you are trying to do.

Do you have VMS16 Platinum installed on your Win 11 machine or are you trying to download it from somewhere?

If you don't already have it installed then it's not available for purchase from Magix. It was superseded by V17 which is now discontinued and also not available but you might still find it with some retailers.

As for DVDA it was discontinued several years ago.

Yes, I have V.M.S. 16 platinum installed, I've had it and been using it for years.

I have created a training video. I need to put it on a DVD so it can be viewed from a DVD player onto a TV.

VMS16 lets me create the video portion as an MPEG2 and that's good. But I also need to create and render the audio file. Thats seems to be the way the DVD players read it.
As I said, when I try to render the audio file, following the steps on the Tech Dive tutorial (a tutorial created for 17), it wants to use a DLL that the software couldn't find.  Supposidly, once both video and audo files are created, that's when Tech Dive says to use the DVD Architect to make them work together, which I now guess may be a separate Vegas module.... which maybe I don't have it.

Any assistance using this, or finding another way, would be helpful.
Thanks.

DVDA is an entirely separate programme which was discontinued a few years ago so is unavailable from Magix. You might still find it for sale with a reseller like Amazon.

DVDA was a stand alone disc authoring programme with extensive features. Using it with VMS you'd normally export separate video and audio streams which would be passed to DVDA. But the streams don't have to be separate. Use a MC MPEG-2 Program Stream render template appropriate to your videos.

You then need to find a disc authoring programme to create your DVD. Finding one might be hard nowadays.

The Program Stream files will contain mpeg-2 audio, not AC3. If you have a fresh install of Win11 you would have a problem trying to export audio with AC3 as MS have removed the AC3 codec, which Vegas used. That's another story and there are threads on that problem. Anyway mpeg-2 shouldn't have the problem.
