I purchased DVD Architect (upgrade) for the Vegas 4.0 I already own. After a successful install (including registering it online), the program refuses to start.
I get the following error message:
"Sony DVD Architect 1.0
The application could not start.
Please ensure that you have enough free memory and system resources. You may want to try rebooting your computer and re-installing the application.
Error code: 0x8004e00a, Startup Code: 2."
I have tried the following after rebooting with the same message:
- I reinstalled the program after ensuring that all other programs were shut down (including my Norton Anti-virus program)
- I removed it and then reinstalled it after ensuring everything was shut down.
- In between each re-install, the computer was rebooted and all programs were shut down.
- I checked my system resources and memory and it is at full resources
My system is a Pentium 1.3ghz with 512mb Ram, Windows XP Pro
Please, please (please!) help me. I am at the end of a big project for a commercial DVD and I need this to be running.
