Can't use media manager/ms server problem

i've tried re-installing media manager several times, but each time i get a message that microsoft server doesn't allow me access to the media manager database. i've even tried reinstalling microsoft server, to no avail. any ideas??

Do a search in this forum - you'll get a lot of hits re media manager problems installing. For myself, I'd been unable to get a successful installation until I just upgraded to V6d, and suddenly MM up and installed just fine. Mixed blessing, now I have to learn how to use it. :-D arryl

MM worked in V6 > V6b NOT in V6c NOR now in V6d. -g

that's been my experience, too. the only reason i want to use mm is because i'm freelancing with a WB news station and they use Avid Newscutter with a media manager, and searching for clips is really cool. I'd like to not have to keep deleting my clips if possible, especially the good ones, if i can help it.

i'll try 6.0d and see if it works.
