can the deshaker sript use cineform AVI's ?

It takes forever to render full HD uncompressed AVI's for deshaking. Can I use a cineform avi and deshake that directly or is the fully uncompressed AVI a must.

Part two of this inquiry is what line do I change in the .js file to get deshaker to use the cineform codec included in NeoScene?

Thanks for this answer and for the time it will save me in the future. William

The quick answer is "yes" -- I've always used Cineform intermediates in DeShaker standalone (ie. not within Vegas). So in VirtualDub, under the video tab, under "compression codec" select Cineform. This is probably enough for you to see how to modify John Meyer's script.

If you purchased the separate Cineform tool, from my experience. I only have the Vegas supplied version of the Codec. VirtualDub outputs a video that is watermarked, if I remember correctly.

I use HUFFYUV most of the time. Non-destructive compression, at about 1/5th the file size. Free, too.
