Can Vegas effects import TurboCAD .obj ?

Hi, i have Vegas Pro 18 & TurboCAD Platinum, I know iy will import .obj files but I'd like to know if Vegas effects will import the more complicated/intricate .obj CAD files? I have BBC Continuum with title Studio but that will only import the very basic CAD obj's, I used up my free trial of Vegas effects before trying the .obj's, so i'd have to pay $279 upgrade to get it working now, people mention "why don't i try Blender & Inkscape" etc, but that's not the point, i want to marry/integrate my CAD with my Vegas without having to use another program, Thanks

Vegas Pro does not import or manipulate 3D files such as .obj files. However Hitfilm (free) does and it has good roundtrip integration with Vegas. Hitfilm Pro (paid) is what I use for integrating 3D models with Vegas and I am happy with it, although integrating 3D modelling with Video is rarely trivial. Vegas Effects is in effect an integrated version of Vegas Pro & Hitfilm Pro and I would expect that to handle .obj files. Currently I prefer the Vegas Pro plus Hitfilm Pro solution to Vegas Effects since if provides access to some additional powerful add-ons that I find useful.

@Video_flaneur Thanks, Yep i know Vegas Pro doesn't import or manipulate 3D files such as .obj, that's why i'm asking about Vegas effects, but.. i have a few plugins, Hitfilm Pro is interesting,, it's a similar price to upgrading to Vegs effects, does it load as a plugin or as a redirect type thing where i can load the footage back into Vegas Pro?, could you post a couple of screen captures ?
