Can we change Recorded Date & Time of Multiple Clips At Once

hi guys..

I need your help in one complicated situation.

like i have two cameras

one is main

second is candid

candid is slow-mo has no audio

and some Indian cameramen so dumb they never equal time of cameras before going shoots.

so i tried some tools like Syncaila which works in these conditions but not everytime.

so i got a little idea.

i will target one camera from all which i will consider as master footage

then i will equal recorded time & date with that master.

is this possible to change recorded date time on mutliple clips

this is how i have to do it.

sometime finding matching event is so difficult.

do anybody have any more good idea?

can we do this..

I select two random event on timeline
then i run a script which match the created date time in both taking one as target event to change.
and it change all media timecode proportionately from the same bin from where that target media is.

because as i look at my video.

I have to find matching event first from both cameras.

so can we done on all media of same bin or anything else like tag or smart bin related to that media.

There's no reason all selected events couldn't be changed "by a set amount" - if you know what that amount is. Just read the current value, adjust it, and then set it back to the adjusted timecode.

I mean sir.... proportionally like 1hr less or 1hr more or anything less or more in all same bin's events in their current timecode.

@iEmby Bulkfilechanger is not easy to use. You must distinguish between created, modified and access date. The modified date is the actual recording date. You can change modified date/time as wished.

Better use duplicate files first for testing.

The windows file times are discussed above as representing the "actual recording date", and are easily modified and not truly reliable. However, some video file formats have embedded metadata that claim to represent variously dates for encoding, tagging, recording, released, writing, mastering, and more (usually only a subset) depending on the camera or app that wrote the file.

The handbrake app of course writes a windows file with the current time (the time of re-encoding), but also writes metadata tags using the current time, making it difficult to determine when the original recording was done.

It's easy enough to find an app to set the windows modified time as you wish, but not the tag times in the file.
