absolutely. I actually use VV5 with Encore DVD from Adobe. Both work flawlessly together.

Check out DVD Lab or DVD Lab Pro - both have 30 day trial versions and both are very reasonably priced - I've been very impressed with the capabilities of Pro (it does many things that DVDA 2.0 will not).

Yes, but there IS a catch. Vegas+DVD comes with the AC3 encoder. Vegas doesn't. The AC-3 encoder is almost as much as the price difference between the two.
