Can you set "video only" in the trimmer to permanently on?

HI all
afaik, I have to set the trimmer to "video only" ( tab) to only send video to the timeline each time I load a new clip into the trimmer.Is there a setting or switch to keep it on as long as needed?

Thanks!

@Mindmatter

Couldn't find a setting or switch to keep trimmer set to video only. Besides using Tab, you can double-click above the dotted line in the video section to turn on video only. Double-click below the dotted line in the video section to turn it off. For audio, double-click below the dotted line in the audio section to turn on audio only. Double-click above the dotted line in the audio section to turn it off. Also, if you drag the cursor, and the mouse pointer is above the dotted line in the video section, then Video Only is turned on, and going below the dotted line turns it off. There could be other ways, but this is as far as I'm going.
