So I'm trying to capture my PS4 with the in-software capture tool, but every time I hit the stop icon after recording I get this message after the capture details and after I hit "OK" it closes out the entire window.
I did notice at the bottom right of the window there's an "Available Time" that sometimes turns red when the recorded time exceeds it. Is this just an issue of space? If so, how do I change save locations for completed recordings?
I'm also unsure of whether I can record with multiple audio sources. It looks like you can switch which audio device you want the program to record but you can't have multiple. I basically want to record:
- Game footage
- Game audio
- Microphone audio
at the same time. What I was doing, and seemed to work at first, was start recording the PS4 with the Vegas recorder and quickly switch to Vegas to hit record for the audio track. I always have to do something in the game to sync it with my voice, though since they did not start recording at the same time.
That wouldn't be so bad, if it weren't for the desync... It seems that using this method, slowly but surely, the game + game audio and our audio track becomes desynced over time (meaning that by the time we've reached 30 minutes into a rendered video theres a clear second delay at least.
I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post this but I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Everywhere I look online for answers the person needing help is always in a slightly different situation than I am and therefore the answers don,t seem to help my situation.
I am well aware of my ignorance with this kind of stuff and would appreciate any kind of advice or instruction. If you need any more details I would happily provide them.
