Cannot change pitch shift method in Vegas Pro 14.0

Hello,

I am using the 64-bit version of Vegas Pro 14 Build 270, and I am doing a video project where I want to pitch shift audio clips in a way that is quicker than using the audio event effects on every individual clip. I found in some tutorials that, by setting the "time shift / pitch shift" method to classic in the audio properties, then it is possible to change the pitch of a clip in the small text box or by using the plus and minus keys. I have tried to use this feature in the properties menu and with the hotkeys, but have not been able to do so successfully because when I use the dialogue box to change the method to classic, it just reverts itself, which is evident when I go back into the properties menu. Everything else in the audio properties menu functions perfectly.

In case this is hardware specific, I am using a Nvidia GTX 1060 (6GB) GPU, and an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU with Windows 10.

Thanks

Are you using CTRL and SHIFT and = and -?

From the help file

Editing from the timeline

Select an event.

Use the = and - keys on your keyboard (not the numeric keypad) to adjust pitch:

Key

Result

=

Raise pitch one semitone.

Ctrl+=

Raise pitch one cent.

Shift+=

Raise pitch one octave.

Ctrl+Shift+=

Reset pitch.

-

Lower pitch one semitone.

Ctrl+-

Lower pitch one cent.

Shift+-

Lower pitch one octave.

Ctrl+Shift+-

Reset pitch.

Well, that was a simple solution. I was using the number pad keys. Thanks!
