Hi, I have successfully been using VV4 for a while now and have just hit this problem. I am 100% sure that I used to be able to drag a media event from the pool (eg a generated text event) and, if it already existed on the time line, I would be asked if I wanted to create a new copy or just a reference to the original file (as described in the help). However, i now no longer get the option to create a copy and a simple reference is created. This is driving me nuts! Is there some preference that I have accedentally changed? If there is I cannot find it!! Any guidance would be much appreciated.
