I'm trying to extract out a song on one of my VCDs by trying to open up the MPEGAV's .DAT file in MS Studio and then trim to the song's location. I believe it worked for me on another VCD some months back. However, this time round, MS Studio would hang.
So I thought I would copy the MPEGAV's .DAT file into a disk directory. But I kept getting an error:
Incorrect function.
0 file(s) copied.
I could play the VCD movie in PowerDVD but since I can't even copy out the MPEGAV's .DAT file, I figured it was giving MS Studio difficulties reading the file. Anyone knows why this is so? Thanks.
